DULUTH -- Two robbers who held up a Duluth cell-phone store Thursday morning didn't get far with their loot, which included 50 pricey smart phones, police said.
Duluth police responded to an armed robbery call about 10:30 a.m. at an AT&T Store called Atlanta Mobility at 2570 Pleasant Hill Road.
Victims gave police physical descriptions of the suspects and their getaway vehicle, a black Honda Accord.
Moments later, a uniform officer spotted the vehicle in a Peachtree Industrial Boulevard apartment complex, said Duluth police spokesman Maj. Don Woodruff.
"The two suspects were located, along with the weapon used in this crime," Woodruff said.
Police also recovered 50 phones in a "huge bag" and $180, Woodruff said.
Police identified the robbers as Shaundarius Hampton, 21, and Amory Thompson, 18, both of Lawrenceville.
Both have been charged with one count of armed robbery and are being held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
