Arrests made in Metro PCS robberies

SNELLVILLE -- Three men believed to be responsible for at least six armed robberies in the metro Atlanta area have been arrested following a joint investigation by Snellville police and DeKalb County authorities.

DeKalb authorities arrested Charles Hamm, 24, Antonio Robert Watson, 23, and Eldrico Sylvester Derrico, 23, on armed robbery, aggravated assault and various weapons charges. Snellville police said Wednesday they are believed to be responsible for the Sept. 14 armed robbery of a Metro PCS store off Henry Clower Boulevard.

Gwinnett County officials previously said the same suspects in that case were being sought in similar crimes at Metro PCS stores on Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Singleton Road in Norcross on Sept. 1 and Sept. 7, respectively.

Information released by Snellville police Wednesday said the trio was tied to at least seven total robberies in the metro Atlanta area.
