GRAYSON — The two teams won't meet in varsity football until Oct. 21, but the Brookwood-Grayson rivalry is already ramping up thanks to social media.
Three young rappers, clearly Grayson fans, have created a video, entitled "Brookwood Where You At?", that has gone viral to the tune of 29,000-plus YouTube hits as of Monday night. The artists, who make appearances on both the Brookwood and Grayson campuses, take shots at the rival Broncos. Grayson star football players Robert Nkemdiche and Nick Schuessler also make appearances in the production. The two schools have battled it out for Region 8-AAAAA titles in recent seasons, with the Broncos' 10-0 victory last season leading to region and state championships. Grayson won the rivalry game in 2008 and 2009, but Brookwood has won five of the seven all-time meetings. Brookwood Where You At? by KyleSklenarMore like this story
