SNELLVILLE -- A local Rotary Club is asking for the public's help identifying World War II veterans to honor this Veterans Day.
The Rotary Club of South Gwinnett County plans to honor WWII vets in a recognition ceremony and luncheon on Friday, Nov. 11. While the club has gathered the names of many veterans "from a number of sources," it is asking for help finding more Gwinnett residents who served in the war. Those interested are asked to email the club at rsvp@southgwinnettrotary.org to suggest a veteran who should be invited to the luncheon, which will be free for each veteran and a guest. The time and location of the luncheon will be sent to all invitees.More like this story
