64th anniversary
Everette Harlan and Alcie Neal McGown of Auburn recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 2, 1947, in Lufkin, Texas. They have six children: David McGown, Karen Guidry, Sharon Cates, Julie Croy, Mickey McGown and Amy Moon. They also have 15 grandchildren. They celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Niagara Falls.
