Coaches announced for Gwinnett all-star game

Brookwood's Mark Crews and Mill Creek's Shannon Jarvis will be the head coaches for this year's Rivalries of Gwinnett All-Star Football Game, Touchdown Club of Gwinnett president Dave Hunter announced Wednesday.

Two longtime Gwinnett high school administrators, Dolford Layson and Jim Markham, will serve as honorary head coaches for Crews and Jarvis, respectively. Layson, retired as a full-time educator, currently is the director of Region 7-AAAAA and Markham is the principal at Mill Creek.

This year's game is Dec. 17 at 1:30 p.m. A host school for the game hasn't been announced.
