LAWRENCEVILLE -- Brand Group Holdings, the bank holding company for Gwinnett-based The Brand Banking Company, announced Monday the hiring of its new chief financial officer.
Robert L. Cochran, most recently the senior vice president of United Community Banks in Blairsville, was named CFO after more than 25 years in the banking industry.
"We are pleased to welcome Rob to our management team at a pivotal time in our company's growth," Brand CEO Bartow Morgan Jr. said in a news release. "Rob's experience in his prior positions makes him the right choice to provide the financial leadership needed to drive our growth into the greater Atlanta market while maintaining financial excellence."
The Brand Banking Company was founded in 1905 and is the oldest locally owned bank in Gwinnett. It currently has branches in Lawrenceville, Grayson, Snellville, Flowery Branch, Buford and Duluth.
