North-South football rosters heavy with Gwinnett players

A total of 12 Gwinnett seniors are on the current roster for the annual Georgia Athletic Coaches Asssociation's North-South All-Star Football Game. The event is scheduled for Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. at Columbus' Memorial Stadium.

Grayson topped the list with three selections -- offensive linemen Fred Zerblis and Garrett Gorringe and defensive end Sebastian Rice.

Buford also had two seniors on the team, lineman Robert Hill and linebacker/running back Nathan Staub, as did Brookwood with running back Nick Tompkins and defensive back Zach Jackson.

The other Gwinnett players on the North roster are Central Gwinnett wide receiver Malachi Jones, Shiloh lineman Tyler Claytor, Peachtree Ridge defensive back Alex Gray, Duluth quarterback/athlete Anfornee Stewart and North Gwinnett defensive lineman Jordan Washington.
