LAWRENCEVILLE -- Still have a few items left on your shopping list after Black Friday?
For the second year in a row, people are encouraged to shop locally today on Small Business Saturday.
The movement, which has 2.5 million likes on its Facebook page, is intended to help mom-and-pop shops make it through the holiday season.
The Facebook page features a search to help shoppers find popular local shops, such as Sparkle in Lawrenceville, Parsons Gifts and Cards in Duluth and Nature's 5th Season Gifts in Dacula.
There are also details to a $25 give back from American Express for shopping locally Saturday.
