LAWRENCEVILLE -- Gwinnett County sheriff's deputies arrested a man Tuesday wanted in connection with an August shooting at a Norcross nightclub.
Durell Turner, 21, was arrested outside the Highland Corner apartments in Norcross after deputies set up surveillance there, sheriff's department spokeswoman Stacey Bourbonnais said. He is accused of shooting a male victim in the stomach at The Valley nightclub on Holcomb Bridge Road on Aug. 27.
Turner was arrested without incident Tuesday as he entered a vehicle outside the apartment complex, Bourbonnais said. He was charged with aggravated assault, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, probation violation and failure to appear.
Gwinnett County Jail records show Turner is being held without bond.
