SAVANNAH (AP) — Police are seeking help from the public to identify a suspect after someone demanded money from a 101-year-old man in his Savannah home in the middle of the night.
Authorities tell the Savannah Morning News (http://bit.ly/ufpx99) that it was the second time in three months that Edward Vaughn lost his wallet in a theft.
Police say the most recent crime occurred Sunday, when officers responded to a burglary-in-progress call at Vaughn's home around 2:45 a.m.
Vaughn told police that someone entered his bedroom while he was sleeping and demanded money. Police said the intruder took his wallet and left. Vaughn was not injured.
