The Gwinnett Gladiators traded forward Tyler Helfrich to the Bakersfield Condors for future considerations.
Helfrich was claimed off of waivers from the Florida Everblades on Oct. 19. He earned eight points (two goals, six assists) in 12 games with Gwinnett. He also had an assist in two games with Florida last year.
The Calgary, Alberta, native skated four seasons at R.P.I from 2007-11. He had a career year during his senior season as he notched 38 points (14 goals, 24 assists) in 38 games. He had 106 points (33 goals, 73 assists) in 135 career collegiate games.
