LAWRENCEVILLE -- Businesses around Gwinnett County are encouraging residents to come out for America Recycles Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Coolray Field, 2500 Buford Drive.
Recycling opportunities include tires with a limit of eight per vehicle, electronics recycling (with a $10 cash fee for TVs) and paper shredding.
In addition to the recycling, there is a touch-a-truck event, giveaways, kids' activities, recycling relay race and food, while supplies last.
