ATHENS -- Jasmine James had 15 points and No. 12 Georgia scored the first 18 points of the game in a 73-48 victory over College of Charleston on Thursday night.
Wesleyan's Anne Marie Armstrong, Krista Donald and Khaalidah Miller added 10 points apiece for Georgia (3-0).
Megan Fisher led College of Charleston (1-2) with 15 points.
Georgia opened the game with an 18-0 run before Christy Hewatt of Cumming, finally scored for College of Charleston, hitting a 3-pointer with 10:45 to go in the first half.
The Cougars missed their first five field-goal attempts, their first four free throws and turned the ball over seven times before scoring.
Georgia's biggest lead of the first half came when Miller's 3 with 5:59 remaining made it 38-7. The Lady Dogs led 44-22 at halftime.
James had a breakaway layup to give Georgia its largest cushion of the game, 67-35.
