NORCROSS -- Gwinnett County police were investigating Wednesday a suspicious package found at a Norcross bank.
The bomb squad -- which also responds to potential biological or chemical threats -- responded to the Wells Fargo at 5525 Peachtree Parkway after the package was discovered before 6 p.m. Though there was "no indication" an explosive device was in the package, the bomb squad implemented its robot and X-rayed the box, police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said.
Smith said the box contained "a bag filled with smaller bags" with something else inside.
Information on that material was not available as of press time Wednesday.
