2011 Gwinnett Daily Post All-County Volleyball

Player of the Year: Dede Bohannnon, Sr., OH, GAC

After being All-Coweta County and All-Area at Newnan the last three seasons, the senior outside hitter overcame many potential distractions to led the Spartans to their first Gwinnett County championship and a Class AA/A state runner-up finish with 423 kills, 52 service aces, 21 blocks, 316 digs. Was also the Area 4-AA/A Player of the Year and a Class AA/A All-State selection by the state's coaches

Co-Coaches of the Year: Kristy Shelton, GAC and Brian Welsch, Brookwood

Shelton guided the Spartans (41-5) to their first Gwinnett County Championship and their first appearance in the Class AA/A state championship match with a school-record 41 wins. Welsch led the Broncos (38-12) to another Area 8-AAAAA title, their second-straight appearance in the Class AAAAA state Elite Eight and a school-record 38 wins
