Lynnette Braner-Seckler, of Duluth Georgia, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend passed into the hands of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 13, 2011, after a two year battle with colon cancer. She was 48. Lynn will always be remembered for her warm, beautiful smile, her kind and loving soul; her generosity; her love and devotion to her family and friends; and foremost, for the grace, dignity and determination with which she battled this disease. She was and will continue to be a wonderful role model for her three children and all who have known her. Lynnette Sue Braner was born on January 22, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio where she also spent all of her childhood. In 1979 her family moved to Duluth, Georgia where she has lived since then and raised her family. For more than 20 years she worked for Travel, Inc. Lynn's irresistible warmth and welcoming personality always drew customers, co-workers and friends to her. Lynn loved to have fun and had an infectious laugh. She loved fashion, football and was the first to arrive at family gatherings ready to celebrate. Lynn's strength and spirit were undeniable in this life and will live on in the lives of everyone she touched before, during and after her illness. She will be forever loved and her life celebrated by those she has left behind. "Aunt Lynn" to eleven nieces and nephews and two great-nieces, Lynnette will be dearly missed by her family, extended family and friends. Lynn is survived by her husband J. David Seckler of Duluth, Ga and three beautiful children; Erin Pickard (25), Garrett Seckler (16) and Gavin Seckler (6). She is also survived by her parents Gary and Nancy Braner, and her six siblings and their families; Jeff and Susana Braner, Kenny and Tammy Braner, Lisa Braner, Leslie Sowders, Lori Braner and Gary Braner Jr., as well as parents in law, Sandra and John P. Davis, brothers- in-law Todd Seckler and John and Allegra Davis and family. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard and Kathryn Braner, and James and Janet Walker, as well as her aunt, Christine Walker, and three cousins, Monica Walker, Karen Goff Marino and Maureen Walker Lowis. Her family would like to express their deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to everyone who partnered with her in this battle. From everyone at the various hospitals and most recently, Altus House Hospice who gave Lynn the highest level of quality medical care and sincere concern, to all of the family, friends and neighbors who supported Lynn and her family during the last two years in so many big and small ways. The cards, flowers, meals, phone calls and prayers have not gone unnoticed. The family will receive friends at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Norcross, 30092, on Thursday, November 17th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, 11330 Woodstock Road, Roswell, 30075 on Friday, November 18th at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross.
