TUCKER -- A neighbor reported a Friday afternoon house fire in Tucker, enabling firefighters to minimize damage.
Gwinnett County firefighters were called to the home on the 230 block of Kenvilla Drive at about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday after the next door neighbor reported seeing flames, spokesman Lt. Eric Eberly said. Crews found heavy smoke conditions but were able to bring the blaze under control in about 20 minutes.
"No one was home at the time of the fire and no firefighters were injured during the incident," Eberly said.
The home suffered moderate damage. The exact cause of the fire was undetermined Friday.
