DULUTH -- Saturday is America Recycling Day -- the only day of the year that the U.S. promotes recycling -- and Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful is celebrating by hosting a community recycling event open to the public.
Residents will earn cash for aluminum cans, have a chance to win cash prizes and shred important documents for free.
Recyclers can bring items between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to the Recycling Bank of Gwinnett at 4300 Satellite Blvd. in Duluth.
For a complete list of recyclables and locations, visit gwinnettcb.org or call 770-822-5187.
