Clyde W. Poole, 89, of Duluth, GA, died November 8, 2011. The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 10th, at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross. A private burial will follow at Big Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Canton, GA. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9th, at the funeral home. Mr. Poole was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II, a member of the Pioneers (Bellsouth), and member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church and First Christian Church of Lawrenceville. He retired from Bellsouth where he worked as a lineman after 32 years of service. Preceded in death by son, Jack Poole and sister, Helen Goodman, he is survived by his wife, Fannie J. Poole; daughter, Glinda (Jim) Bailey; brother, Lamar (Charlotte) Poole; sister, Ernestine Sosebee; grandchildren, Kim (Alan) Hopkins and Kacy (John) Freeman; and four great-grandchildren, Avery and Hailey Hopkins and Ella and Jack Freeman.
