Brookwood twins Kelsey and Michael Gouge have made college commitments -- Kelsey to Florida Southern and Michael to Valdosta State. They are the children of Mike and Liz Gouge.
Kelsey, a three-time all-state swimmer and four-time All-American, chose the NCAA Division II power over opportunities at Auburn, N.C. State and Florida State. She maintains a 3.6 GPA and trains locally at SwimAtlanta. Michael had baseball and football options, but chose to sign with Valdosta State for baseball. He also will have the opportunity to play football for the Blazers. A tight end for last year's Class AAAAA football state title team, he maintains a 3.8 GPA.More like this story
