LAWRENCEVILLE -- Partnership Gwinnett, which is credited with drawing thousands of jobs to Gwinnett, has a new leader on its team.
Kellie Brownlow was named director of economic development for the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce led program. She will lead the team of Chamber staffers and report to Nick Masino, the vice president in charge of the operation.
"I am very honored to be joining such a strong and dynamic regional leadership team," Brownlow said in a press release. "I look forward to diligently working to ensure companies and businesses choose Gwinnett, metro Atlanta and the state of Georgia as their place to most effectively do business."
Brownlow, who will begin her new job Nov. 28, has worked for a decade in governmental relations and regional leadership with the Atlanta Regional Commission.
"Kellie's regional leadership and connections coupled with her dedication and passion for the metro Atlanta region made her the best candidate to fill the position," Masino said. "We are excited to have her on the team."

Glad to see they finally replaced Alfie Meek instead of leaving that job empty. We need aggressive economic development in an economy like this one.
