North Georgia’s Jessica Coan, a Greater Atlanta Christian grad, was named the Daktronics Ron Lenz National Pitcher of the Year this week. She also was selected as a NFCA/Louisville Slugger Division II first-team All-American.
Coan entered this week’s NCAA Division II Women’s College World Series with a 27-4 record and a 0.95 ERA. She had 326 strikeouts in only 2131⁄3 innings for the nation’s second-ranked team.More like this story
