Notice is hereby given to the general public that Heidi Smith Price has filed an application to Rezone the property located at 249 North Price Road, known at Tax Parcel ID: 7-254-008 and more particularly described as follows;

All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 254 of the 7TH District , Gwinnett County, Georgia, and being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the southeast corner of the intersection of the right of ways of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and North Price Road;

Thence along the southeast right of way of North Price Road a distance of 215.47 feet to a concrete monument found being the POINT OF BEGINNING:

Thence N72°48’16”E along the southeast right of way of North Price Road, being the north property line of parcel, a distance of 245.01 feet to a concrete monument found, this being subtended by an arc of 249,73 feet having a radius of 370.00 feet;

THENCE leaving the north property line of parcel, S16°50’27”E a distance of 316.29 feet to an iron pin found;

THENCE S41°08’19”W, a distance of 160.00 feet to an iron pin found;

THENCE N32°08’42”W a distance of 414.30 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING;

Containing 67,061 square feet or 1.5395 acres, more or less.

The request to Change the Zoning for tract of land located at 249 North Price Road, Tax Parcel ID: 7-254-008, Sugar Hill, Georgia. The property is currently zoned General Business District (BG) Zoning Classification and the applicant is requesting a Light Industry District (HM-1) Zoning Classification. The Mayor and City Council have authority to zone the property as requested, adopt the proposed amendment as supplemented by conditions of approval, rezone to any other less intense Zoning District with or without conditions, table the request or deny the request. A public hearing on the proposed rezoning modification has been scheduled for The Planning Commission on Monday, May 16, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sugar Hill City Hall Annex, located at 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. A public hearing on the proposed rezoning modification with the Mayor and City Council has been scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sugar Hill City Hall Annex, 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. The case file may be viewed by any interested party at the Department of Planning and Development from Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The City of Buford Planning and Zoning Board will meet on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. and the Buford City Commission will meet on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Buford City Hall, 2300 Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia 30518 to consider a special use permit at 4550 South Lee Street for Thomas & Jennifer Stark (“I Speak Dog”). Notice is hereby given to the public that the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia will consider text amendments to The 2000 Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia ("Zoning Ordinance"). The text amendments will make changes to Article 3 Definitions and Article 13 Signs. A copy of the proposed amendment is available for review in the office of the Planning & Development Department located at 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia.

A public hearing to consider the adoption of these text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance will be conducted by the Planning Commission of the City of Sugar Hill on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Annex, which is located at 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. The Mayor and Council of the City of Sugar Hill will conduct a public hearing to consider the adoption of the proposed text amendments on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Annex, which is located at 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia.
