Providence Christian grad Stephen Ramsey received the Tommy Werrick Scholar-Athlete Award as Augusta State’s top student-athlete for the 2010-11 school year. Ramsey made 47 pitching appearances in three seasons at Augusta State after transferring from Toccoa Falls College.
Ramsey graduated cum laude earlier this month with a kinesiology/health science degree and earned a Gold Presidential Scholar Award from the Peach Belt Conference. He has enrolled in the doctor of physical therapy program at the Medical College of Georgia.More like this story
