Todd Redmond’s first complete game of the season, a three-hit shutout of the Rochester Red Wings, earned the Gwinnett pitcher his third weekly honor in as many seasons.
The International League named the Gwinnett right-hander its pitcher of the week for his solid start, the third G-Braves pitcher to lay claim to the honor this season. Redmond earned the honor with his domination of the Red Wings on Wednesday, needing just 111 pitches to strike out four and walk none over nine innings. The complete-game shutout gave Redmond his second win of the season despite a 2.59 ERA and a league best 0.33 WHIP.More like this story
