First U.S. Ebola case confirmed September 30, 2014

Ronald Alvin George, age 77 of Loganville, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Grayson United Methodist Church. Pastor Scott Hearn will officiate. Mr. George was a member of Grayson United Methodist Church and was retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Cecil Dan Foster. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Virginia George; Son & Daughter-in-law: James & Rebecca George; Granddaughters: Jessica, Angelica, Macie-Lynn, all of Fayetteville, NC; Step- Daughter & Son-in-law: Vicky & Hugh Howard; Grandchildren: Cecil, Evan, Collin & Caitlin Conroy; Step-Daughter and Son-in-law: Lisa & David Mazurkiewicz; Grandchild: Jenny; Dan's Children: Alex & Ginger. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grayson UMC Preschool ‘George Cown Memorial Santa Scholarship Fund,' 555 Grayson Parkway, Grayson, GA 30017. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 1 PM on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Grayson United Methodist Church.
