MACON -- The Gwinnett Daily Post won four honors in the Georgia AP News Excellence Awards contest that were handed out Saturday at the Marriott Macon City Center.
Photo editor Jason Braverman won a pair of awards and staff writer Josh Green and photographer Jonathan Phillips were also honored. Braverman placed second for best spot news photo and best photo illustration while Green placed third in beat reporting. Phillips placed second for best photo portfolio.
The Daily Post competes in Class AAAA, the largest classification for Georgia newspapers.
