Sloan Shanahan of Suwanee won in her first appearance on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, taking first in the girls 14- to 18-year-old division at the Augusta Golf Instruction Junior Classic. She shot 72 and 78 for a two-stroke win at Bartram Trail Golf Club.
Dacula’s Ansley Bowman (77-78) was third in the girls 14-18 division. Jacob Bayer of Lawrenceville won the boys 10-12 division with rounds of 77 and 73, good for a one-shot victory.More like this story
