Dacula senior catcher Tripp Calhoun has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Darton College. The son of Bill and Paula Calhoun, he also earned the school’s Dean’s Scholar Award.
Calhoun, a four-year varsity starter, helped the Falcons to the second round of the Class AAAAA playoffs as a senior. He hit .408 with four homes and 18 RBIs this season, earning Gwinnett Dugout Club and All-Region 8-AAAAA second-team honors.More like this story
