RC Cancer Centers and the American Cancer Society will host their annual Coaches vs. Cancer black tie event Saturday.
The event will be an evening of fine dining, dancing and celebrity guests, with proceeds directly benefiting the ACS’ Winn-Dixie Hope Lodge in Atlanta. At the Hope Lodge, cancer patients and their caregivers stay free of charge while undergoing treatment. The BasketBall event will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton-Buckhead. Coaches vs. Cancer is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches and to date has raised more than $55 million to help the ACS fund cancer research, education and support programs. “We are not only excited, but proud to be a presenting sponsor again for this year’s Coaches vs. Cancer BasketBall Gala,” RC Cancer Centers president Michael Holton said. “Hope Lodge provides an added element of care and support not found anywhere else, and we are honored to show our support alongside so many other prominent residents and leaders within the Atlanta community.” For more information or to order tickets, visit www.thebasketballatl.org.More like this story
