LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Gwinnett Master Gardeners will hold its 2011 Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The self-guided tour features six gardens at residences in Duluth, Lilburn and Norcross. Master gardeners will be available at each site to answer questions.
Tickets cost $10 and include information about each garden, as well as directions to each location. Tickets can be purchased at any garden location the day of the tour.
The featured gardens are as follows:
* The garden of Sue Shaw, 1969 Kates Court, Duluth
* The garden of Susan Varlamoff, 3730 Windhurst Drive, Lilburn
* The garden of Jane Trentin, 3811 Windhurst Drive, Lilburn
* The garden of Julie Foster, 498 Ridgecrest Drive, Norcross
* The garden of Linda Edwards, 4112 Little Leaf Court, Norcross
* The garden of Payge Cox, 4970 Riverfield Drive, Norcross
No strollers will be allowed in the gardens, and parents must hold their children's hands. Gardens are not wheelchair accessible. Pets are prohibited.
Proceeds from the garden tour benefit the community projects of the Gwinnett Master Gardeners.
