DULUTH -- The city of Duluth will host its first Health and Fitness Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on the Duluth Town Green, located at 3142 Hill St.
The event will include free fitness activities on the main stage, including yoga, Zumba, a fitness boot camp, kickboxing and a personal training session with Mayor Nancy Harris.
More than 30 vendors will be on site distributing information, samples, free nutritional analysis, health screenings, massages, vitamins, vision screenings and more.
Food demonstrations and seminars will take place at the gazebo area. The Food Court will be serving healthy options.
The event's Kids Zone will offer vendors with kid-friendly information, giveaways and fitness activities including a rock wall, obstacle course and jump rope and hula hoop contests.
The event is sponsored by Anytime Fitness, Gwinnett Medical Center, Weight Watchers and Duluth Parks and Recreation.
