Mill Creek defensive end/linebacker Cody Rediger has made a commitment to play football for Georgia Southern, joining fellow seniors Austin Hagan and Devonte Lewis in joining the Eagles.
Rediger had 60 tackles, five tackles for losses and three forced fumbles last season as the Hawks made the Class AAAAA quarterfinals. He also had a 44-yard, game-winning touchdown catch vs. Peachtree Ridge. A three-year starter, he was an 7-AAAAA all-region selection and the Kevin Maloof Award winner by the Touchdown Club of Gwinnett. He also received Mill Creek’s Brian Maloney State Farm Scholarship Award.More like this story
