ROCHESTER — When Jordan Schafer doubled in Wilkin Castillo for the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth, it looked like the Gwinnett Braves would put an end to their current losing malaise.
Instead, they found another way to lose.
Closer Jairo Asencio allowed three runs in the bottom of the ninth, capped off by Steve Singleton’s two-run home run as the G-Braves fell 7-5 to Rochester.
Starter Rodrigo Lopez was strong again, allowing three runs off six hits and striking out six in as many innings.
