NORCROSS — Warm weather in Norcross means fresh foods, music and lots of outdoor activities. Mayor Bucky Johnson announced Monday during the City Council meeting that the Whistle Stop Farmers Market, the annual Car Show, the Strawberry Stroll and the city’s first official outdoor concert all take place this month.
The city’s popular Whistle Stop Farmers Market kicks off at 4 p.m. May 17 and will continue every Tuesday through Oct. 11. The annual car show, known for delighting classic car enthusiasts throughout the southeast, is scheduled for May 21 in historic downtown Norcross. The Strawberry Stroll takes place in Norcross on May 28 in downtown Norcross. Patrons can expect to find fresh, pesticide-free, strawberries, homemade products and special savings offered by downtown shops. The popular Norcross summer concert series opens in Thrasher Park with Sinatra and Friends at 7:30 p.m. on May 30.More like this story
