Troyce "Tuck" M. Jackson, age 88 of Duluth, died March 26, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday March 29, 2011 at Duluth First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Tommy Green and Rev. C. Kay Fuino officiating. Interment Duluth Church Cemetery. Mr. Jackson was born in Lawrenceville and graduated from Lawrenceville High School. He served in the US Navy during World War II and operated Jackson's Amoco Service Station in Duluth in the early 1950's. He later worked for Southland Life Insurance Company and C.A. Summerour and Sons prior to his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Evelyn Jackson of Duluth, son and daughter-in-law Troyce and Deb Jackson of Duluth, daughter and son-in-law Ann and Doug Tiberghien of Duluth, sister Jean Leslie of Gainesville, grandchildren Leslie Jackson of Atlanta, Hailey Burnes of Cumming, Abby Jackson of Atlanta, Grant Tiberghien and Jackson Tiberghien, both of Duluth. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Duluth First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory Duluth Chapel 770-476-2535.
