Georgia softball standout Brianna Hesson, a North Gwinnett grad, was named the SEC player of the week on Monday.
Hesson hit .500 with 10 RBIs, six runs scored and five extra-base hits as the Bulldogs went 4-0 last week. She had three home runs during the week for a 1.188 slugging percentage. Eight of her RBIs came in a sweep of second-ranked Florida.More like this story
