Mr. Willard O. Ashe, age 85, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011 after an extended illness at Gwinnett Extended Care in Lawrenceville, GA. He is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Janet Ashe, Suwanee, GA; son and daughter-in-law, William Allen and Jennifer Ashe, Chamblee, GA; sister, Edith Angela Pirkle, Cumming, GA; sister-in-law, Jeanne Shafer, Alexander, VA; one nephew; and four nieces. Mr. Ashe was born January 10, 1926 in Hayesville, NC. He was a 1943 graduate of Hayesville High School in Hayesville, NC and a graduate of Benjamin Franklin University in Washington DC where he received his Master's Degree in Commercial Science. He was a retired accountant from the U. S. Senate in Washington DC. He was a member of the Suwanee Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Suwanee, GA. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Suwanee Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4681 Suwanee Dam Road, Suwanee, GA 30024.
