NORCROSS -- Investigators are asking for public assistance in catching a knife-wielding robber who hit a Norcross gas station Wednesday morning.

The lone suspect pulled a knife on an employee at a 5700 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. RaceTrac station about 5 a.m., said Norcross police Sgt. Bill Grogan.

The suspect ordered the employee to open a cash register, then fled with about $300, Grogan said.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect Thursday. Anyone with information is urged to call Sgt. Grogan, Norcross Police Department, at 770-448-2111.
