DULUTH -- A Duluth man's cache of bootleg DVDs has landed him behind bars on 11 felony charges, police said.
Gwinnett police on Tuesday found 11 ripped copies of copyrighted movies in the McDaniel Road apartment of Maurice Jovan Smith, 34, according to an arrest warrant. Police also found him in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, said Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith.
Smith faces 11 counts of unauthorized distribution and sale of recorded material and drug possession charges.
Among the counterfeit titles listed in warrants are "The Last Airbender," "Red" and "Piranha 3-D." Smith remains jailed without bond.
