Georgia Right to Life clarifies perceived Gause endorsement

LAWRENCEVILLE — Georgia Right to Life issued a statement Friday to clarify a perceived endorsement of Larry Gause, one of the four candidates in the Gwinnett chairman’s race.

Although Gause recently joined Georgia Right to Life by paying a yearly fee, the organization has not endorsed his campaign, according to a news release. Gause uses the Georgia Right to Life logo on his campaign literature.

Georgia Right to Life’s Political Action Committee specifically endorses those candidates considered to be the strongest and most effective voice for the unborn: those who believe abortion should be legal only to save the life of the mother, the news release states.
