SUWANEE — The Gwinnett County Republican Party will host its county convention Saturday at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee.
In addition to electing county party officers for the 2011-13 term and delegates to the Georgia Republican Party convention in May, special guests will include Gov. Nathan Deal and Congressman Rob Woodall. Guests are invited to attend free of charge. “The county convention is a perfect opportunity for folks to get involved as we work to elect a Republican president in 2012,” Gwinnett GOP Chairman Bruce LeVell said. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and all attendees must be registered by the convention start time of 10 a.m. Collins Hill High School is located at 50 Taylor Road in Suwanee.
