BUFORD — A pair of occupants suffered minor injuries after a Thursday afternoon fire at their Buford apartment, officials said.
Gwinnett County firefighters arrived at the Preston Hills Apartments on the the 2900 block of Buford Drive just after 1 p.m., finding a small fire in the kitchen of a third-floor apartment, spokesman Capt. Two adult occupants were treated and released at the scene for minor smoke inhalation and burn injuries. The fire appeared to be accidental, Rutledge said.More like this story
