Lauren Hall of Wesleyan won the one-meter title and was second in the three-meter competition at last week’s USA Diving Spring Region 7 Championships in Coral Springs, Fla.
Hall, who won this year’s state high school title with a record score, scored 363.80 points in her one-meter victory and had 356.15 points on three-meter. Hall’s Atlanta Diving Association teammates — Wesleyan’s Zach Hernandez and Parkview’s Sean Piner — also had two top-five finishes each. Hernandez was fourth on three-meter (369.90) and fifth on one-meter (364.65) and Piner was fourth on one-meter (400.00) and fifth on three-meter (360.90). Grayson’s Darcie O’Brien was 12th in one-meter (285.60) and 13th in three-meter (305.00).More like this story
