Gwinnett Daily Post
The Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of two new elementary school principals during a called meeting Monday.
Steve Frandsen was approved as the new principal at Annistown Elementary, while Terry Watlington will take the helm at Norton Elementary.
Frandsen was formerly assistant principal at Ferguson Elementary. He will succeed Lorraine Henry, who is retiring today.
Watlington will move into the leadership role at Norton as current principal Daundria Phillips moves to an assistant principal position at the new online charter school.
A 15-year education veteran, Frandsen has taught in Gwinnett County schools for his entire career.
Watlington has worked with the local school system for the past nine years and was with Fulton County schools prior to that.
