DACULA -- The decomposed body found over the weekend at Little Mulberry Park is suspected to be the result of a suicide, officials said.
A man hiking with his son in the Dacula-area park stumbled across the badly decomposed body at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The body, located about a half mile from the park's Fence Road entrance, was identified Tuesday night as that of 29-year-old Aaron R. Bregenzer.
Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said previously the body had been there for less than a week. Tuesday, he said investigators suspected no foul play in the case.
"This case is a suspected suicide, however, this will not be confirmed until toxicology results return," Smith said.
