Peachtree Ridge grad Seth Reeves, a golfer at Georgia Tech, won the recent 82nd Southeastern Amateur Championship at the Country Club of Columbus.
The left-hander finished the tourney at 6-under-par 278, good for a three-shot victory over runner-up and Georgia signee Sepp Straka of Valdosta. Reeves' final-round 74 was solid enough for a victory after his opening three rounds of 68, 67 and 69 built a large cushion.
