The Hebron 12U/Major Boys All Stars recently won the Hebron Baptist Church All-Star baseball tournament.
The teams consisted of Rehobeth, North Metro and First Redeemer and Hebron. Hebron won the tournament in dominating fashion by winning by a score of 10-0 in the championship game against First Redeemer.
Team members are Brian Chandler, Evan Oswald, Cody Parr, Jacob Ross, Adam Collins, Jack Shea, Hunter Smith, Anderson Baily, Jesse Baily, William Waters, Mitchel Davis and Andon Doster. The team is coached by Shaun Smith, Todd Collins, Doug Baily and Tom Oswald.
Soccer
Galaxy headed to nationals
The U17 Galaxy 94 Gold won the President's Cup in May and won regionals on June 9-12, earning a trip to the national tournament in Iowa in July.
Team members are Katy Nelson, Hannah Wilson, Madelyn Youngblood, Ally Brady, Hannah Toutkoushian, Bethany Walshe, Sarah Walls, Alison Brady, Kristin Kelly, Katherine Bonds, Kayla Wootton, Sarah Weber, Andrea Marin and Sarah Greer. The team is aoched by Patrick Ahern, Mickey Velasquez and Kristy Nelson.
Lacrosse
Gwinnett represented in lacrosse tourney
Gwinnett County had eight players selected to play for Georgia in the Adidas Natonal Lacrosse tournament.
Aaron Amin, Holin Axley, Kyle Horton, Garrett Miller, Eric Reynolds, Braxton Roman, Greg Rose and Grant Schuster were selected to the team.
The tournament will be played July 1-8 in Maryland.
