LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Chick-fil-A located on Pike Street in Lawrenceville is celebrating its 20th anniversary from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The celebration will include special giveaways, including coupons for a free breakfast item with purchase of another breakfast item. Valued customers will have the opportunity to win a Chick-fil-A gift pack, which includes 20 free Chick-fil-A meal coupons.
The store will also supply birthday cake for customers while supplies last.
"This is just our way of kind of giving back to the community that has been so giving to us; made us such a success in the city of Lawrenceville," said Sharon Crosby, Chick-fil-A unit marketing director. "We just really appreciate our valued customers, and their continued support of our restaurant."
Crosby said the Chick-fil-A has a small anniversary celebration every year, but the store is excited for its 20-year benchmark.
"My operator Mark Treadwell has had this store since it opened," Crosby said. "He's been the original operator and his family has lived in Gwinnett County, and actually the city of Lawrenceville, for over 20 years. He raised his kids here and so he's been a part of the community for over 20 years and has established some great relationships and we just want to celebrate that with the 20th anniversary."
